    COVID Protections Remain in Place at GLCS

    While the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has relaxed its requirements for mask wearing, Grass Lake Community Schools will continue to follow Jackson County Health Department recommendations to continue wearing masks in our buildings and our school buses until further information has been obtained from the Health Department on the matter.

    While the Coronavirus Covid 19 is being monitored by our government agencies, the Michigan Department of Education reminds all of us to maintain basic cleanliness and prevention methods that include: o Remaining at home if you are sick and avoid close contact with people who are sick. o Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. o Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are unavailable. o Covering cough and sneezes with a tissue or sleeve. Provide adequate supplies within easy reach, including tissues and no-touch trash cans.
