WELCOME TO GEORGE LONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
George Long Elementary School supports the Kindergartners through 5th graders of the Grass Lake Community School District. The elementary building also houses the our Little Warriors Preschool & Childcare, which can be reached at 517-867-5650. Our school was extensively renovated and a new wing was added on in 2007. We enjoy large rooms, modern audio-visual equipment, and a cooperative staff committed to helping all of our students to succeed. Call us if you are interested in a tour of our building. Permission to Distribute Medication to Students

ALL Medication will remain in the office and be distributed by office personnel. ONLY medication in the original container will be accepted. No medication will be accepted in baggies or envelopes.

Union Street Pedestrian Crossings
All students and caregivers who are crossing Union Street to access George Long Elementary School must use the crossing directly in front of the school's front doors with our crossing guard when the crossing guard is available.

My name is Ben Learned and I am excited to be the 3rd-5th grade principal. I have just completed my 11th year in education including 8 years as a math teacher. Grass Lake is the 3rd district I have worked in and I look forward to working closely with the community. I just finished my 2nd year as an administrator with the district and these have been very unique years to start as an administrator.
